Cosco infant car seat issue?

I just bought it today and when i went to check it out when i got hom i placed the carrying handle part in carrying postion and herd it sbnap in place, but it's gotta alot of play in it. Is its supposed to wobble alot and have alot of back and forth swinging movement to it ? Kinda agervating but where i bought it there was only one other one left and that was all they was gonna get in!
