Creditor takes my money ? WTF ?

I have been paying a bill of a good size amount, the last two payments I made by my debit card, because of my pay periods. Then last week, I went to get money from an atm, I was X amount of money short, I found out that this creditor took the money out of my account without authorization !! is there anything I can legally do ???
