Penn State or Virginia Tech?

I want to be a civil engineer major. i got accepted to both PSU and VT. I'm split down the middle on where to go. And here's the worst part, my mom thinks i will get lost at PSU since it's so large and my dad is basically 100% anything from pennsylvania. no matter who i talk to im getting a biased opinion and my parents are fighting over it and i think my dad might hate me if i go to VT. So in your opinion which school should i go to?
