Intelligent girls plz?

I know this really cute guy I've known for years and years. At some point we lost touch with each other but recently reconnected. We have always been friends and nothing more. However, I did have some form of feelings for him a long time ago before we lost touch but uniting now after all these years we are very different people than we were. I have found myself very drawn to him which I have been trying to make known but I'm not sure he is getting it. And if he is getting it he isn't making it known. So, how do I find out how he feels? Should I pursue him? Should I just kick back and whatever happens happens? He is so decent and kind and caring and there are so few like him out there. I don't want to lose out and be single for the rest of my life because I don't know what to do in this cirstance. And I certainly don't want to settle for anything less than him. Even my folks want to see us hook up. I need some clever ways to subtly make my intentions known. Any ideas?
