What are some high-temperature pyrotechnic mixtures?

I usually light thermite with a propane torch, but I am trying to make thermite grenades (not explosive). I can't stand over them for a minute or so with a torch until it ignites. Is there a mix of chemicals that would burn hot enough to light thermite? I have or have access to almost any chemical you could come up with. Except for some illegal stuff.
